Social media is an increasingly important tool for scientific outreach. It allows us to extend the conversation from conferences to a broader audience. Please consider using our conference hashtag, #NSC2017, in social media posts during the event and sharing your thoughts, observations, posters, or slides.
As part of this year’s conference, NOAA would like to collect examples that illustrate how our partners and users are using satellite imagery. Images, composites, or animations of interesting atmospheric and space phenomena are encouraged, whether they are part of an existing presentation or not. These will be shown on a projector in the Great Hall throughout the meeting. Please consider sending one or more items of interest in PowerPoint format with proper attribution and, optionally, a description in the slide notes to Tim Schmit at Tim.J.Schmit@noaa.gov and Dick Reynolds at Dick.Reynolds@noaa.gov. Images from within NOAA are also encouraged. Please submit images or animations by July 6.
